Dry Cleaning
With our unique machinery , attention to detail and most importantly, care towards your clothing. Asik Dry Cleaners always promises a high standard of quality when it comes to dry cleaning.
The process of dry cleaning first starts by each item one at a time, being carefully laid onto a specially formulated pre-spotting table. It is here where each item is carefully inspected for any soiling or staining.
Once these items have been treated, they will be placed into a dry cleaning machine to be immersed into the correct solvents. These solvents do not contain any water, hence the term “dry clean”.
This process will extract any deep and long term grease and grime soiling which naturally occurs through day to day wear and tear. At the same time, whilst immersed in these solvents, all the chemicals used in the first process of the stain removal will rinse and flush out of the garment leaving it stain free. This dry cleaning process takes approximately 1-1/2 hours.
Repairs and Alterations
Our alterations and repairs department can cater for all of your requirements including shortening, lengthening, zips fitted, waists in or out, shoulders lifted, tapering and much more. Not only to clothing, we also alter household items such as curtains and covers.
There is no need to book an appointment, just walk in.
We specialise in a broad variety of items when it comes to alterations and repairs, be it shortening some trousers for work or amending a wedding dress to look perfect on that special day.
Shirt Service
Your shirts are laundered at the correct temperatures using specially formulated detergents without any bleaches, or you can opt our ironing service for those of you who don’t mind washing but prefer to leave the ironing to professionals.

Curtains and Soft Furnishings
Our curtain and soft furnishing dry cleaning department provide a gentle process which insures the minimum risks to shrinkage and ageing of fabrics helping your curtains to prolong its life expectancy. Once your curtains or soft furnishing have been dry cleaned, they are lightly steamed to give a soft finish as we prefer to avoid any hard pressing.
You may not think it, but curtains and soft furnishings can gather up thousands of dust mites too small for the human eye to see. Not only that, dust, smoke, odours and even dead skin particles which attach and create the perfect habitat for these mites to live and breed in. So, for your personal health and cleanliness we recommend you to get your curtains and soft furnishings cleaned at least once every six months!
Remember, our collection and delivery will take the strain out of carrying them in your car and, we will bring them back to you still nicely steam pressed and crease free.
Duvets and Pillows
Having your duvets and pillows washed is probably the last thing on your mind but according to experts should be cleaned every six months.
Approximately 20,000 living things such as mites, bacteria and bed bugs find your duvets and pillows to be a warm home to live and breed causing us and our loved ones allergies and agitates asthma sufferers. Cleaning them regularly helps the build-up of such creatures and helps you have a good night’s sleep without the worry.

Suede and Leather Service
The cleaning of leather and suede is a craft practiced by skilled artisans. We defer to our own specialists who carefully grade and inspect each garment prior to cleaning. Unlike cleaning normal fabrics the cleaning of suede and leather requires extensive work post cleaning to restore the garment to it's original condition. For example smooth leathers often require retexturing to achieve the same finish and Suede garments frequently require re-tinting to restore their original colour.
During cleaning the oils within suede and leather garments are removed. Part of the processing involves re-oiling the skin to keep it supple. During re-oiling the skin can become a few shades darker. For this reason you should always clean garments that are part of a set together.
We can only implore you to choose a specialist leather cleaner -- we have too many horror stories of what happens when customers entrust their treasured suede and leather garments to dry cleaners who are not familiar with the appropriate methods.
